How to care for my Yak/Sheep Wool products?
Handle gently. Since the products are made from yak and/or sheep wool, some shedding and pilling will occur naturally with friction. When creating the products, a technique is used to minimize pilling, but they are still tender. Just pinch the part that's pilled, and pull it in the direction of the wool. It's recommended to dry clean your product. Never wash in the washing machine. The combination of water, heat, and friction will cause the products to felt and lose its softness. If you accidentally spill something like coffee or wine on it, clean off immediately. Dab the area with cold water. Once the stain has been removed, put the area between two towels, give a few gentle squeezes, and let air dry.
