This crossbody bag has a distinct and colorful Amdo Tibetan pattern stitched together with a handwoven, sheep wool fabric. Two interior pockets, one with a zipper, help keep your things separated, and the Amdo Bag closes with a wooden button or horn toggle. Rather than simple cloth handles, this bag’s strap is constructed of woven sheep wool with a cotton backing. As pictured.
Amdo Craft is dedicated to training and helping Tibetan nomads use the only resources they have: yak and sheep wool and yak milk. The profit of the sales of these unique handmade handicrafts goes back to Tibetan communities. In return they are able to provide shoes, clothes and school books for their children as well as food for the long cold winters.
